Centre for Book Arts We offer a full programme of City & Guilds Bookbinding Courses at our Wiltshire barn and On-line via ZOOM. Click here for the 2024/2025 Course Timetable. Please note courses planned for 2025 are now being added on a reguar basis. Our courses are linked to City & Guilds qualifications and standards but we do not make it a requirement to register for City & Guilds qualifications when undertaking a course. Courses are divided into three levels: | ||
Level 1 | Beginners' Courses - Split into two five-day units leading to a Level 1 City & Guilds Award. | |
Level 2 | Intermediate Courses -
For students with Level 1 experience in
bookbinding and wishing to progress to a Level 2 City & Guilds Certificate. |

Level 3 | Advanced Courses -
Specialist classes for those taking their skills to the highest
standards and leading to a Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma. |

The Daffodil Barn (Nursery Barn) is a delightful thatched roof barn in the quiet and relatively remote area of Woodborough, Wiltshire. There are two adjacent cafe's, plenty of free parking and is situated next to the popular local landmark of the Whitehall Garden Centre. | ||||

combine a course with a stay in the lovely Wiltshire countryside.
For those with transport there are plenty of places to stay in the
surrounding towns and villages of Marlborough, Pewsey and Devizes. There is a great local pub and a guest house within walking distance to the barn. If coming by train the nearest station is Pewsey (3 miles).
